Recordium - Free Voice Recorder App Reviews

I paused a lecture to use another app. When I re-opened Recordium, the recording was gone :-/

Well designed to suite my device, an excellent recording that I enjoyed to the fullest.

I was simply playing around with the ab trying to see how it works and it automatically made me purchase a pro version to it please refund my money I will delete the app to show you that I do not want it

App upgrades itself as soon as you try it. Bait & switch!

Simplicity is key. But the concept of adding notes photos and tags easily to a recording in context is very powerful tool. Some reviews have said the app is unstable, crashes and loses recordings. I sure hope not as this will become a regular tool for me if it is reliable. This app avoids the pitfall of other apps that allow you to take notes while recording. That pitfall being to many features. This app is intuitive and allows you to take notes while concentrating on paying attention. 5 stars is not enough!

I downloaded the free app. While trying to edit a test recording two buttons appeared: one labeled "purchase", one labeled "restore." Well, I didnt want to purchase, so I hit "restore" thinking it would send me back to the previous screen. BUT NO! With no warning or password verification, HITTING RESTORE PURCHASED THE PRO APP!!! I WAS ROBBED!!! *%##>£%¥€#!!!

As others have mentioned, This app is really unreliable and buggy. I was recording a long file yesterday when I pauses to check another app. Coming back to Recordium, the file wasnt there anymore. Ok! My mistake not to save it before leaving. So I redid it from scratch. Narration of 34 A4 pages, saved it this time and it was fine until I came to edit it today. It crashed half way and reopening the app, the whole file was gone again! I cannot believe how many hours Ive wasted with this app.

I have tried twice to upgrade to the paid version of the app, have been charged for it, but it never successfully loads. I have emailed tech support twice and never heard back. I really like the free version, if the upgrade would work, Id give it more stars. right now, with iOS 8.0.2, the app constantly crashes when I try to update the app to the paid version. I really dont trust the developer enough to attempt to download the paid version from App Store, but when you select an in app option to restore paid version, it should work. And when users have an issue and email questions, some kind of a response is expected. UPDATE: ***constantly*** loses my files or they dont transfer AT ALL. The developer keeps asking me to download other players to open the saved files. Guess what? Your coding needs work!!! The files should transfer seamlessly when downloaded through iTunes, but I have now lost HOURS of lectures and am coming up on finals week. Now I have NOTHING to show for it. Your app is worthless the way it is. Fix it and stop robbing people of their data. This app is unreliable and loses data, the two biggest dealbreakers for ANY app.

05/17/15 : This app is WORTHLESS. It made me lose a lot of PRICELESS recordings of my Baby from when she was just a HeartBeat..!

Never push the “restore” button if you want to upgrade. It look like “back” button, but it would force you to buy pro version which charges you. I really hate this disgusting to put this kind of fake button. HATE HATE HATE this app and developer!

I use it to record my voice lessons, audio material I want to remember, interviews, songs I liked from the radio, etc. Ive recorded sessions up to 45 minutes and never had a problem. Works great for me.

my file gone！

FALSE ADVERTISING and CANT GET THE APP BUT THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY! This is not the app! You can do absolutely nothing with audio but see what options *will be* available IF you purchase the app. Trying to purchase app keeps saying "cant connect to server"!

Hey man i have purchased for pro version and it decreases 9$ from my acount but it doesnt support pro version please help me what can i do???

I can focus on the important part of my recording any time, its great I can attach picture to my recording file. I enjoy this recorder app.

The app worked well in iOS 8.3 but the $10 upgrade failed to happen 4 times when attempted. The $5 upgrade is not even offered, but the developer does have a $5 paid version. Too risky to try an app in this category that is not working 100% in the free trial. Complete features not tested. =^(

This is by far the best voice memo app, but lack of updates that would fix numerous bugs deems this app absolutely useless. It freezes completely when opening a recording. I cant trust this app. Do not buy unless update is out.

Great app when it works, terrible app when it eats your files and no way to get them back! Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, trying to restore my $10 purchase, keep getting message "Cannot connect to server" Fix these issues, get five stars

Bad tech support and doesnt work

I did not pay, but if you were robbed, complain to apple app cs. So, the volume is low when recording. Today I decided to record something for emailing. After an hour of hard work, I find out that I cannot edit the recording unless I upgrade. Also, there doesnt seem to be a way of exporting the files anyway! Delete this app, delete!
